About NEP2020

The NEP (National Education Policy) envisions transforming India into a global knowledge superpower by providing high-quality education to all. The NEP Cell aims to implement this policy by fostering student engagement, promoting research, and facilitating the policy’s various initiatives. The core principles guiding the NEP include access, equity, quality, affordability, and accountability.

Vision

Transforming India: The NEP aims to make India a vibrant knowledge society and a global superpower through a transformative education system.

Holistic Development: The policy focuses on developing not only cognitive skills but also social, ethical, and emotional capacities in students.

Global Citizenship: The NEP aims to instill in students a sense of pride in being Indian while also developing them as responsible global citizens.

Mission

Implementation: The NEP Cell is responsible for implementing the policy’s provisions and initiatives within the college or institution.

Student Engagement: Encouraging student participation in discussions and activities related to NEP 2020.

Research and Innovation: Promoting research on the impact of NEP 2020 on the educational system.

Curriculum Development: Developing and adapting curricula and courseware to align with the NEP’s goals.

Lifelong Learning: Providing access to lifelong learning opportunities through open and distance learning systems.
